Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026

1. What we collect

• Account data: email address, a hashed password (we never store your password in

plain text), and — for seekers — a display name.

• Request content: the category/country/company you search on, and the text of any

brief you write.

• Connector/expert application data: the information submitted when applying —

name, email, countries, categories, languages, your value description, and the

boundaries you set.

• Communications: messages sent through the platform, meeting scheduling details,

and the fact and content of an introduction.

• Signature records: when you sign the Seeker Agreement or Expert Agreement, we

record the version signed, a timestamp, your IP address, and user-agent string — kept

as evidence that the agreement was accepted, per its own terms.

• Payment data: handled directly by Stripe for any paid session — we do not

store your card details ourselves.

• Video calls: the free introductory call runs through Daily.co; calls are not

recorded by the platform.

2. What we don't do

We don't run third-party advertising trackers or sell your data to data brokers. We

don't publicly list, browse, or index any profile — that's the point of the platform.

3. How we use it

• To operate the matching engine (tag intersection on category/country/company — no AI

or behavioral profiling).

• To route your inquiry, notify the other side, and send the transactional emails the

product depends on — approvals, scheduling, payment confirmations.

• To enforce the Seeker Agreement and Expert Agreement, including the non-circumvention

and commission provisions those documents describe.

• To respond to legal process or investigate a suspected violation of our terms.

4. Who sees what

Seekers see an anonymous card for an approving connector (a short description, years of

experience, a region note) — never a name or contact detail before the free intro call.

Connectors see a seeker's brief once they're matched, but not the seeker's name or

contact details until the same call. Hammerin's own team can see full account and

matching data as needed to operate and moderate the platform.

5. Third-party processors

Stripe, Daily.co, and our email service provider process data on our behalf strictly to

provide their part of the service (payment, video, and transactional email

respectively). They don't get access to anything beyond what's needed for that role, and

your data may be processed on their infrastructure outside your own country as part of

their normal operation.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use analytics or

advertising cookies. On some pages we count visits without cookies, using a one-way

code that changes daily and can't be traced back to you or your IP address.

7. Data retention

We keep account, signature, and messaging records for as long as the relevant

agreement's obligations can still apply (for example, the multi-year non-circumvention

window in the Seeker/Expert Agreements), and as needed for legal, tax, or dispute

purposes after that.

8. Security

We store passwords hashed, never in plain text, and restrict access to account and

matching data to what's needed to operate the platform. No online service can guarantee

perfect security, but we don't share access beyond that operational need.

9. Children's privacy

Hammerin isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from

minors. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data by writing to

info@hammerin.co. We'll honor a deletion request except where we're required to keep

a record (for example, a signed agreement or a payment record) for legal reasons.

11. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be posted here with

an updated effective date.
